K Rouse completed this complex scheme for Galliford Try as part of a Network Rail project to modify various local stations throughout the Yorkshire region.
The project required expert planning and management due to the requirement of keeping the busy station open to the public and the varied nature of the works being undertaken.
K Rouse’s works included foundation works for new over bridges, ticket office and passanger shelters, drainage modifications and installation, platform concreting and surfacing and external works forming new footpaths and car parks.
