The wide range of our experience and project management shone through in our works for AMCO at Ratcliffe Power Station. There K Rouse took on a variety of packages all of which involved working to the stringent health and safety procedures necessary when working in a live power station environment.

Our packages included; crane bases, id fan bases, various ground beams, pile caps and lift pits, small works such as pipe supports and ancillary bases, and the installation of service roads including drainage, kerbing and paving.

Much of the works undertaken by K Rouse involved working adjacent to or within existing buildings. This required the use of specialist plant to operate inside areas of restricted headroom and working space, or the use of small tools and hand digging only.

As this was a live power station their were also numerous services to be taken account of, and a key aspect of K Rouse’s commitment to excellence was their location and protection, maintaining our excellent Health and Safety record and ensuring the smooth running of both our works and those of our fellow contractors.
